A green project
It uses as fuel only vegetable by-products within a range of 70 km from the power plant, often disposed of with practices in stark contrast to national and EU directives. The carbon dioxide released from the power plant will be equal to that fixed by the plant, during growth, through the process of photosynthesis.
The efficiency in the control of combustion processes will reduce emissions of CO2 up to 63,000 tonnes a year.
Italian project, European technology
The construction of the power plant will be the result of an extensive experience in the field of renewable energy, particularly biomass, of the most important European companies, as SPIG, IA.ING and Impresa del Fiume for Italy, Leroux & Lotz and Soten for France, TGM Kanis, Siemens and Stela for Germany.
Development of the territory
The project allows the redevelopment of a desert industrial area and the value-enhancement of local agro-products, often disposed of in irregular manner, causing serious damage to the environment and the economy of the industry itself, and the creation of real recycling supply chain with clear benefits on local economy.
The project allows to increase the workforce by direct recruitment and satellite activities operators.
The possibility to make use of the cogeneration technology allows the combined heat and power production improving not only energy efficiency, but also environmental sustainability.
